Use this where you cannot add a module script: most CMS HTML blocks, older page builders, and anywhere the markup is pasted rather than authored.

embed.js is a classic script rather than a module for one specific reason: it reads its own src to work out where the renderer and the API live, and document.currentScript is null inside a module. It carries no renderer itself. It fetches exactly the chunk the mode needs.

Attributes

Everything goes on the container as data-fb-*:

data-fb-field-<name> prefills a field. Add data-fb-api only when the endpoints live on a different host from the bundle.
